In Winner, installation objects or symbols are used to display the location of, for example, switches, pipes, sockets and other types of installations.
At Alternative level:
- Set mode to Room definition mode by clicking the icon:
- In the Room surfaces/objects section, located on the far right of the screen, select Floor or Ceiling depending on where you wish to place the object or symbol.
- In the Plan view, position the cursor where you wish the object or symbol to be placed.
Note: For more information, see Using the cursor and Changing the cursor position. - Click the Add installation object icon or the Add installation symbol icon:
Note: Or users can right-click in the Plan view and select:
Add installation object > On floor or In ceiling
Add installation symbol > On floor or In ceiling. - In the Set parameters for object or Set placement for object window, click OK.
Note: For Installation objects you can enter a value that will raise the object from the floor or lower it from the ceiling respectively using the parameter Distance from wall. This is useful for adding outlets to a room where the floor or ceiling are multiple different heights. Both Installation symbols and Installation objects can be dragged and dropped wherever you wish to place them after the window closes. To change the height of an Installation object, right-click and select Installation properties.
