How can I add installations to an object not connected to a wall

1. Click the Room Definition mode icon in the top-left corner:
   
   
   
   
2. As it is helpful to see the kitchen furniture in the plan for the next steps, right-click the plan and select Visible layers.
   
   
3. Choose the option Room with installations and base units.
   Note: To see furniture other than base units: In the Visible layers menu, select Define profile. Then, under the Object>visibility area, you can click the units between B and W (base and wall) and/or Wall unit buttons as required.
   
   
4. Draw a sectional view on the plan:
   See the Sectional views article for instructions on how to do this.
   
   Example 1: If you have an island on the plan, draw the sectional view in the middle of it and cover its whole length:
   
   
   Example 2: When you have a molding or a wall with corners, draw the sectional view opposite the wall, close to it, and cover its whole length:
   
   
    
5. Click the Sectional View icon
    
6. Select the tool icon   then click the solid line in the middle of the sectional view in the Plan. Once selected, the sectional view is active and yellow in the plan. 
   This means that you can choose different sectional view options using the right mouse button.

In Room Definition Mode: 

1. Click the Sectional View icon
    
2. Select the tool icon   then click the solid line in the middle of the sectional view in the Plan.  Once selected, the sectional view is active and yellow in the plan, and you will see the view in the Elevation window.
    
3. With the sectional view highlighted, in the Catalogue Browser, select the Installations tab, select the installation, and click Add in the bottom-left corner of the Catalog Browser. 
    
4. You can set the position of the object in the Select placement for object window. You can modify the different values of a parameter by clicking its line and entering the value in the field at the bottom of the window. 
   
    
5. Click OK, and you will see the symbol in the plan and/or elevation view.
