If you are unable to download the update from within the software as specified in the article: How to download catalogs and updates. It is possible to download the update for Winner using a Binpatch.
- Ensure that Winner is closed.
- Click the Windows Start icon and type in Wininfo then click the Winner Info icon:
Note: Users can also type "Winner Info" into the search bar.
- In the Winner - System Information window, select the Maintenance tab.
- Click Winner downloads.
Note: Or go to Downloads (compusoftgroup.com).
- Under Winner Design Program updates, click the latest .zip file to download it.
Note: Users may need to instruct their antivirus program or internet browser to permit the download and keep the file:
Giving permission to Microsoft Edge
Click the three dots and then select Keep:
Click Show more then select Keep anyway:
Giving permission to Windows Defender
Click More info then select Run anyway:
- Once the download has completed, open Windows File Explorer.
- Go to ThisPC\Downloads.
- In Downloads, right-click and unzip the file. In the unzipped folder double-click the BinPatch.exe file.
- Once the update has completed, start Winner Design.
