Software updates
When a new hotfix or version is released, users should update as soon as possible to gain access to bug fixes, quality of life improvements and new features. To make this easier, users are able to set up automatic checks for updates. This will set up a reminder to check for updates.
Catalogues
Winner is delivered without any pre-installed catalogues. To see a searchable catalogue list showing which catalogues are available please go to our website Winner Flex: Kitchen Design Software | Cloud Based | Compusoft (compusoftgroup.com)
Once you have decided which catalogues you would like adding to your account, request them via the customer portal, you will then be notified by Support when they have been added. For more information see How to request a catalogue
Note: Some catalogues need permission from the manufacturer before being added to your account.
To add catalogues to the Winner software you need to download them. To install catalogues and software updates for Winner, please watch the video or follow the instructions below.
NOTE: For Flex users the automatic download of updates feature means that catalogue updates will be installed automatically upon opening of the software. The Winner software update and new catalogue releases will be installed automatically for users once the administrative user has downloaded and installed it.
- At Project level, click on Register in the top menu bar.
- Select Download catalogues / updates.
- In the Choose what to download window, if you don’t want to follow the suggestions that show you catalogues which are newer on the download server than on your installation, you can manually tick or untick individual catalogues or use the reset button to untick all of them.
- Click Download to download all selected.
Note: You can follow the status of the download in real time at the bottom right of your screen.
- When the status Download completed is shown in the bottom right of your screen, click OK to continue.
- The following message may appear:
If it doesn’t, the message will appear the first time a user restarts Winner.
Note: If Winner is installed on a server when downloading a new program version, all users must leave Winner before the downloaded version can get installed.
- If you click Yes the catalogue(s) or software update will install now.
Note: Whilst downloading catalogues or software updates you can continue to work in Winner, but during installation you cannot work in Winner. Therefore you may prefer to click No and install at a more convenient time. If No is clicked you will get a prompt to install each time you reopen Winner.

Remember the previous catalogue version is still retained in your database. Therefore it is recommended that you occasionally delete the old versions, using the multiple delete function, so that your database does not get overloaded. See article How to delete catalogues
- After installation the catalogue information window will open for each catalogue you installed, once you have read the information click Close.
- The indexing window may now open. IMPORTANT! When a catalogue has been installed you will be required to approve the Cost and Sales index for the new catalogue. This means pricing the catalogue - setting the cost of items to you and the price you will be selling them for. You will be unable to use the downloaded catalogues in a plan until you have confirmed the indexes. For instructions on how to do this see article How can I setup my cost and sales index?
NOTE: In Flex catalogues and catalogue indexes are shared companywide. Flex users will not need to set the indexing for catalogues, this will be done by the Flex administrative user in your company. It is not possible to have individual catalogue settings per shop, unless you have CMC.
