In Winner Design legacy both the Project archive and the Customer registry have features to help users to comply with applicable data protection laws when managing customers' personal details and individually identifying information.
The Find project function also has features, which are useful for identifying projects that may require action. For more information, see Enhanced search function and Find project.
Project archive
At Project level:
- Select Register > Project archive.
- Left-click a Project to select it.
Note: Users can hold the CTRL key on the keyboard and use the left mouse button to select multiple projects. Users can also hold the Shift key on the keyboard and left-click to highlight multiple rows. - In the Manage project archive window, click the Edit button.
- Select the new option, Set new customer.
This option allows users to assign a new customer to a project. For example, an anonymous placeholder customer. For more information on creating a customer, see Registering a customer.
Customer registry
At Project level:
- Select Register > Customers.
- In the Customer registry window, tick the new option Show all customers without any Project.
This will display customers that are not assigned to a project. This allows for easy identification of customer information that may require deletion. For example, if the project or projects associated with a customer have been deleted or archived. For more information, see Archiving and retrieving an archived project.
