Once the external walls have been added to an Alternative, the draw interior wall tool can be used to insert internal walls, inner and false walls. For example, to add a partition wall or a utility room.
At Alternative level, in Room definition mode or Furnishing mode:
- Click the Draw interior wall icon:
- Click on the Draw tool:
Note: The Draw rectangle tool can also be used:
However, specifying the length and width of each wall is easier using the Draw tool.
The instructions below refer to using the Draw tool.

Click on the plan where the interior wall will begin. The starting point will be marked by a red square in a black circle.
Note: Left-click and hold to display measurements along the exterior wall, allowing for more accurate placement.

Left-click the set starting point, drag and release to draw the wall, represented by a red line and shaded area.
Note: To specify exact dimensions, for example the length, right-click on the highlighted red line and select Properties. Right click and use Select tool to highlight previously drawn lines:

Once finished, click the Close figure with indicated thickness icon or click the Select mode icon, which automatically opens Close figure with indicated thickness:

- In Complete: Indicate thickness enter the thickness of the wall(s) in Depth.
Direction (Left = anti-clockwise and Right = clockwise) determines how Winner will close the figure. This is based on where the cursor is located, and determines what side of the drawn wall(s) the specified Depth of the wall is added to. - Click OK.
- In Interior Wall Properties further adjustments can be made see article Interior wall properties. Click on Advanced settings to see all options.
Note: Selecting the Act as filler with wall material option will present the interior wall(s) as filler, meaning they will not be numbered.
