In Winner Design, it could be helpful to the operation of your company to have your projects filed and accessible in different databases. For example you may want one database for each Designer or you may want one database per year.
You can add multiple project databases by taking the following steps:
- Locate your Winner folder on your C:\Drive and open it.
- Open the folder DB.
- Create a new folder and name it. Example – Projects 2.
- Open the Winner Info application from your Windows start menu.
- Inside the Winner Info application, click on the tab Project Settings.
- Click Add.
- Give the new project database a name. Example – Projects 2.
- Click OK.
- Browse to the new folder you created in step 3, select it and click OK.
- Place a tick in the lower box Select project database on Winner startup and on ‘Search Project’ command.
- Click Save & Close to save your changes.
- Restart Winner Design.
- Now every time you open Winner Design the Choose project database window will open.
- Choose which database you wish to work in and click OK.
- If you wish to change database whilst Winner is open, click on Project on the menu bar.
- Click, Select project database.
- Select which database you want to work in and click OK.
