It is possible for third-party programs to be incompatible with Winner and cause Winner to crash at certain points, such as selecting or changing model or opening an alternative.
One such program is called the Nahimic companion. The Nahimic Companion is an audio driver which can be automatically installed after a Windows update. See the steps below to disable the Nahimics Companion to test if this is causing Winner to crash.
How to disable Nahimics Companion
- Close Winner
- Go to the Windows search bar and search Services.
- In the Services window search for Nahimics.
- Select Nahimics and right click.
- Select the option Stop.
- Right click on Nahimics again and go to Properties.
- In the option Startup type select Disabled.
NOTE!: When updating Windows it is possible that Nahimics will be reinstalled. - Restart Winner
