Winner has features to assist placing sinks quickly and accurately in your plan. Sinks can be placed in different mounting types such as, undermount, top mount and, flush mount. These functions help to centre a sink on the unit, or adjust the distance from the worktop front. The position can be set as you add a sink or after adding a sink.
As you add a sink
- Select the unit you are adding the sink to.
- Choose a sink from Standard Products and click on the Centre object button on the right-hand side of dialog window.
- This will place the sink centrally on the selected unit.
- Make small adjustments to the distance from the front of the worktop by double-clicking the sink and adjusting Distance from worktop front in the Object parameters window.
After adding a sink to the plan
At Alternative level, in Furnishing mode
- Use the snap point in the centre of the cut-out area (the outlines of the object) to assist placement over a unit.
- When dragging to place the sink using the cut-out snap point, the cursor turns to a snap point indicator when it is central to the unit underneath:
Additionally, the outline of the sink turns green if centred.
- Release the mouse to automatically place the sink correctly considering its cut-out parameters.
- Make small adjustments to the distance from the front of the worktop by double-clicking the sink and adjusting Distance from worktop front in the Object parameters window.
Note: If a sink is not fully covering the worktop when placed and is hanging over the front, the sink will snap to place over the worktop, again considering its cut-out parameters.
Note: If you want to place the sink without the snap point features, hold the Space bar on your keyboard when releasing the mouse to place.
