To speed up the design process users can save customised units, a collection of units and other objects together as a Macro. For example a macro can be a selection of decor items that can be added to multiple designs. This article shows you how to use the updated browser to create a macro, insert one into your design, edit one and delete one.
The Winner Macro catalogue is available on a tab in the updated browser named My Macros. This will show an image list of macros you have created.
To create a macro
- Click on the My Macros tab.
- In your plan select the items you wish to create a macro for.
- Click the Add macro icon which will appear at the bottom left of the browser
- The window Create Macro will appear. In the Code field add a name and or code for the macro.
Note: this is the minimum data required in this window.
- Click Add details in this window you will see 2 tabs; Product and Quotation and Prices. Fill in any additional fields and click Create.
- The macro will now appear on the My Macros tab with the name you allocated it.
To place a macro in your design
- Place the cursor where you want the macro to appear.
- Click the My Macros tab at the top of the browser.
- Select the required macro and click the Add button at the bottom right of the browser, or you can double-click the macro image. Both methods will add the macro to your plan.
To edit a macro
- Whether in 3d view or list view you will see the more options icon alongside the macro
Click this and select Edit.
- This reopens the Create Macro window with the 2 tabs, and you can make your required adjustments.
- If you wish to change the contents of a macro - select the items you want to replace it with then click the more options icon
and select Replace with selected objects.
To delete a macro
- Whether in 3d view or list view you will see the more options icon alongside the macro
Click this and select Delete.
- Click Yes to confirm deletion.
