In Winner, the cursor position can be manually changed, to allow for more accurate positioning. For example, this can be used to position the cursor exactly halfway along a wall, or to leave a precise gap between the cursor and an inserted unit. There are two methods detailed below, which one you use will be dependent on your catalog browser version.
Note: From version 12.5a7 the position of the cursor is displayed at the foot of the plan, showing the distance to the wall and the distance to the next object relative to the cursor.
Catalog Browser
- Click on the Cursor tab.
- Use the cursor position icons and/or the data input fields to position the cursor as required.
Note: hover the mouse over the icons to see a tooltip. If you use the offset icon it will take you to the change position window as detailed below.
Classic catalog browser
Within the Design, in any mode:
- Select Tools > Cursor > Set distance
- In the Change Position window, adjust the position of the cursor relative to the current cursor position in mm.
Within the Design, in Room definition mode or Furnishing mode:
- Click the Offset button on the right hand side of the screen.
Note: Located at the bottom-right in Room definition mode and the top-right in Furniture mode.
- In the Change Position window, adjust the position of the cursor relative to the current cursor position in mm.
Note: The cursor can be moved forward, backward, right and/or left. Mathematical keyboard shortcuts + , - , * , / can be used to further increase the accuracy. Brackets ( , ) can also be used to input more complex calculations.
