In some cases, it is not possible to use the Quick process function when setting the conditions of a catalogue using CMC. For example, when you have multiple shops with different conditions or certain catalogues that do not allow the use of Quick process.

Information on all customization options
1 - Model customization:
All model names within the catalogue can be customized manually, this will impact either the displayed names in Winner or the names on the printout or both. It is also possible to set a period of availability for the customizations.
2 - Article customization:
Information for several items like installation time, volume, weight, freight costs or recycling fees can be under the relevant columns.
Note: Use the filter functions for finding the items more easily.
Hide article column - it is possible to set any random value here in order to hide this item for future plannings in Winner.
Message to user column - here you can input information which will pop up when choosing this item in Winner. This pop-up window has to be approved by clicking OK.
Ask for price column - When this is activated for a code (by entering 1 in the field) and you insert the item, the program will ask you to enter a price via the model/price information dialog. Note: this is for items that are variable.
3 - Core selection customization: When creating this customization, you have to define a product group and a model first. When a name for the product group (via Add on the bottom left) is defined, the model name can be left empty and confirmed with OK, this gives the model the same name as the product group. The product group is listed as an own calculation group in the index settings which allows a separate calculation of these articles.
As soon as the product group is defined, a dialog will be opened where the core selection can be added. New articles can be added to the catalogue either via the button Add new article, or for existing articles from the catalogue via the button Add catalogue article. Via the menu option Core selection > Get from clipboard (existing or new) articles can be copied out of an excel file as a core selection. Data, which is to be copied out of an excel file for this customization must be prepared as follows:
Column A: Article code
Column B: Description (optional)
Column C: Purchase price
Column D: Sales price (optional)
Articles to be imported here can also be new ones, which are not yet in the catalogue.
When in a customization if the flag Special offer core selection (at the bottom left) is set for a certain article, this article will be allocated in the item group 54 – Adjustment. Articles in this item group are excluded from global discounts. Thus, when a discount is set in the planning, which counts for each item line separately, the articles of the item group 54 are excluded.
Note: Core selections, which are downloaded via the download of basic catalogues, will automatically be installed into the appropriate catalogue and are added as a separate Core selection customization.
4 - Condition customization: (this is one of the minimum customization requirements before a catalogue can be published). Index settings for the catalogue will be defined here. It is also possible to define a period of availability for these conditions. It is recommended to define one condition as Preferred condition when there are several customizations.
5 - Block customization: Blocks with the file type *.blk can be imported or your own blocks can be defined here.
Note: Blocks which have the file type *.zip or *.csv can be imported in the Catalogue customizations window via the Import button.
Blocks, which are downloaded via download of basic catalogues, will automatically be installed in the correct catalogue and added as a separate Block customization.
6 - Block action customization: When blocks for a catalogue are already imported, a block action can be defined with this customization. This block action relates to a specific block (this block can be selected via the button Add on the bottom left), with a certain model and an appropriate finish group. In addition, a period of availability per action can be defined.
7 - Catalogue settings customization: (this is one of the minimum customization requirements before a catalogue can be published). The calculation method for the condition settings will be defined here.
The catalogue name on the printout or the name of the catalogue displayed in Winner can also be defined here. The catalogue name can only contain a certain number of characters, this includes the number of the catalogue version (e.g. 2018-01) which is generated by the system and cannot be changed. To hide catalogues for new alternatives, flag Make this catalogue unavailable for new alternatives.
8 - Article URL customization: Similar to the functions in catalogues with premium content, for example links to the PDF sales manual, pictograms of articles and links to product videos, it is possible with this customization to define links to your own media; for example videos, documents, websites. The data is imported in the same way as described at the customizations of model names and core selections; via the menu option User defined urls > Get from clipboard…
The Excel list has to be prepared as follows:
Column A: Article code
Column B: Name in the menu
Column C: URL
To delete URLs you have to export the data into an empty Excel-Sheet and edit the data there.
To export it, click on Send list to clipboard… and paste the data into the Excel Sheet. Edit the list or delete the URLs you don’t need any more and import this data again.
Note: If you just insert the new data in the existing Article URL customization, the existing entries will be deleted.
9 - Article extra code collections. When New is used it opens a spreadsheet where the CMC administrator can define a new collection for the optional and or mandatory extra codes for an item. If you Import an existing spreadsheet file and edit it, this will also define a new collection. In the spreadsheet you can add data as required, if the excel file is invalid you will get a warning message when you click Ready for publishing. A file is considered valid if the following conditions are met:
ExclusiveMode values are valid (i.e., 0, 1, 2).
There are no empty CodeCollections. Each collection must include:
- Collection name
- ExclusiveMode
- At least one code
- At least one extra code
All article codes must exist in the catalog (both regular and extra codes).
Note: The Exclusive Mode column value can be set as follows:
0 = You can choose how many extra code collections you want.
1 = You must choose only one option.
2 = You can choose only one or none
