The Catalogue maintenance tool (CMC) is an extension that allows you adjust catalogues to your independent requirements. The extension is activated by contacting Compusoft support.
Once the extension is activated, with the help of this article you will be ready to download and install catalogues, set up prices, change the print name for the catalogues and further customisations for existing catalogues.
Download the extension
At Project level:
- Click on Register in the Menu bar and select Download catalogues / updates.
- In the Choose what to download window, click the Reset button.
- Select the Extensions file and tick the box on the left.
Note! Do not include any catalogues in this download selection.
- Click Download
The download progress will be visible in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
- After the Extension Download is finished, restart Winner.
The installation of the extensions will start automatically.
Catalogue customisation - download and install catalogues
At Project level:
- Click on Additional modules in the Menu bar and select Catalogue customisation
- In the Catalogue customisation window, click the Download button on the right hand side.
- In the Choose what to download window, select your catalogues as required and click Download.
- Click OK to continue.
The download progress will be visible in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
- After the download is finished, click the button Install downloaded to install the catalogues into the customisations database.
- Dependent on the catalogue a catalogue information screen may appear, once you have read it click Close.
- The catalogues will now feature in the Catalogue customisation list.
Catalogue customisation - making adjustments
After the installation you are able to proceed with the price settings and also add certain adaptions to the catalogue.

Quick process - Quick process adds the minimum components required to publish a catalogue - 4 condition customisation and 7 catalogue settings customisation. Quick process is only available if you have not set up any other customisations in the selected catalogue.
- Select your catalogue from the list and click the Quick process button on the right.
- In the first screen you can set up your price settings and click OK, which opens a second screen.
- In the second screen you can apply further restriction, change the catalogue printout name, change the currency.
IMPORTANT: If you have multiple shops and they need different pricing for different shops do not use the Quick process button but add the components manually click here for more information. To assign customisations to different shops click here for more information.
- Customisation properties - You can double click the selected catalogue.
- In the Catalogue customisations window, select the New drop-down and choose between different Adjustments. In this example, we will create a new adjustment for the prices in Condition customisation.
- In the Customisation properties window, enter a meaningful name, for example Conditions 001.
- Click OK.
- In the Catalogue information window, you can now store your purchasing conditions.
- Once adjusted to your requirements, click OK
The adjustments will now be listed in the Catalogue customisations window.
- Import - You can set core assortments or blocks manually from a file into the catalogue.
- In the Catalogue customisations window, click the Import drop-down on the right hand side.
- Select either core selection or block customisation.
- Select your locally saved file for importing and click Open.
- Publishing - All customizations you create require a release.
- In the Catalogue customisations window, mark one or more adjustments. Hold the Shift key while selecting multiple adjustments.
- Click on the Ready for publishing button.
Catalogue customisation - Publish All
- In the main Catalogue customisation window click on the Publish All button.
A notification Pop-up appears as soon as all adjustments have been published.
- Click Close.
- Choose whether to export now in the confirmation window.
- The published catalogues are now automatically saved to the adminstrator's local folder.
IMPORTANT: After publication all users, including the administrator, need to manually load the catalogues by clicking Register in the Menu bar and selecting Download Catalogues/Updates. They will then be available to use in designs.
