Winner offers you the possibility to add coving and or skirting board to a room, including using skirting board as a plinth and coving on ceiling fillers. This is a decorative function that enhances the realism of the design. Winner also enables you to change the colour and height of the skirting board. Since this moulding is only a graphical object without price information, you'll see this referenced as Only drawn. This means you are not ordering anything and the customer will not be charged.
At Alternative level, in any mode:
- Press F7 on the keyboard, or click on Alternative > Settings, to open the Drawing settings.
- In Drawing settings, select the tab Coving/Skirting underneath the box in the top left corner.
- Click the third drop-down box to the right and select a design. You can see a preview of a design by hovering your mouse over an option.
Note: By default the drop-down box will be set to Off.
- Adjust the height once the style is chosen.
- If you want skirting boards on plinths or coving on ceiling fillers check the appropriate tick box.
- To change the colour of the skirting board or coving click
and select Override colour. Here you can add an RGB value or pick a colour from the chart.
- Click OK to confirm your choices.
Moulding has now been added automatically to all appropriate areas.
