Importing a Core Selection file allows you to import your own prices for codes that exist in the catalog. You are only able to import one CSV file for a catalog at any given time, or you can receive one from Winner Support.
You can import as many core selection files as required if you use the CMC extension Catalog maintenance component. Winner's global regions support this extension in different ways due to catalogs used. It is advisable to contact Winner Support to discuss if this is the correct option for your company.

The following steps will guide you through the importation process without CMC.
Step 1 Prepare the .csv file
Important! When inputting purchase or sales prices into the spreadsheet they should be entered excluding VAT as this will be added automatically on import.
- Create an Excel spreadsheet listing the articles and price. It should be formatted as such:
Column A = The code reference to the existing article code in the intended catalog.
Column B = The customized purchase price.
- Save the Excel spreadsheet as a CSV (Comma delimited) .csv file in the Save as drop-down selection.
Step 2 Select the catalog
- At project level, click on Register in the menu bar.
- Select Catalogs....
- In the Registered catalogs window, click on the catalog name you want to customize.
Step 3 Import the core selection
- With the catalog highlighted, click Catalog in the top left.
- Select Import core selection file... .
- In the file selection window, locate your saved .csv file and click Open.
Step 4 Confirm decimal place
- In the Add decimals window, you will be asked if the last two digits should be used as decimals.
In this example:
Clicking Yes will make the price for U40-3 1.01
Clicking No will make the price for U40-3 101.00
Take your time to check this and select your option.
- Once complete, you will be asked if you want to see the log. Clicking Yes will open a notepad where you can review if all articles were imported correctly.
- Once the import is complete, click the Close button at the top-right.
The import is now complete.
Step 5 Importing with sales price
The same steps as above can be taken including a Sales price.
- At step 1. Prepare the .csv file, add the sales price in Column C of the Excel file.
- Follow step 2. Select the catalog as above.
- Before you import the core selection, enable the purchase price and sales price in the customization. In the Registered catalogs window, double-click on the selected catalog.
- In the Catalog information window, click on the Settings tab.
- In the Settings, tick Purchase price and sales price for each product and click OK.
- Follow step 3. Import the core selection as above, ensuring that a third column, column C, has been included in the .csv.
- Follow step 4. Confirm decimal place as above.
IMPORTANT! The simultaneous use of a core assortment with purchase and sales prices and a core assortment with only purchase prices in one catalog is not possible!
*It is only possible to use either only purchase prices Columns A and B or the purchase and sales prices Columns A, B and C selection.
