Perspective settings allows the on-screen rendering and general presentation of the perspective to be adjusted. For example, to:
- Remove shadows and limit light sources;
- Display a photorealistic on-screen render;
- Remove colour;
- Adjust the visibility of contour lines;
- Toggle object selection settings
To adjust these settings, in Alternative, with the Perspective view selected:
- Select Perspective > Settings...
Note: You can also right-click the Perspective view and select Perspective > Settings...
- Make changes to settings in Perspective settings.

Click Apply to set your changes.

1. No shadows and limited number of light sources - Removes shadows and limits the number of light sources in the Perspective view.
2. Some shadows and limited number of light sources - Removes some shadows and limits the number of light sources in the Perspective view.
3. Automatic adaption depending on scene complexity - Balances the number of shadows and light sources against the number of inserted objects in the Perspective view.
4. Full render quality - Displays the render at maximum quality in the Perspective view.
5. Edge enhancement - Adjusts the visibility of contours in the Perspective view.
6. Selection - When set to On, objects in the Perspective view will be selectable. When set to Off, objects in the Perspective view will not be selectable.
7. Selection in clone mode - When set to On, objects in the cloned Perspective view will be selectable. When set to Off, objects in the cloned Perspective view will not be selectable.
Perspective settings at lower graphics settings
1. Wire frame - Removes colour in the Perspective view and displays with contour lines only.
2. Smooth shading/Wire rotate - Only displays contour lines while the Perspective view is changed, for example when it is rotated, enlarged, reduced or moved.
3. Smooth shading - Displays colour in the Perspective view.
4. Edge enhancement - Adjusts the visibility of contours in the Perspective view.
5. Selection - When set to On, objects in the Perspective view will be selectable. When set to Off, objects in the Perspective view will not be selectable.
6. Selection in clone mode - When set to On, objects in the cloned Perspective view will be selectable. When set to Off, objects in the cloned Perspective view will not be selectable.
