In an Winner, users can use detailed additional costs to your quotation. They are featured in the Calculation tab of the Quotation setup window.
Getting to Additional Costs
At Alternative level:
- Click the Calculator icon:
- In the Quotation window, click the Quotation drop-down menu in the bottom right corner and select Quotation setup/summary.
- In the Quotation setup window, click on the Calculation tab.
In the Calculation tab there are three areas – VAT configuration, Additional Costs and Profit Calculation. See below for more details about Additional Costs.
Additional Costs
Here users can adjust the Purchase price, Markup %, Sales Price, Discounts (2) and (3), VAT % and Item group for amount for the following additional costs:
Freight – this has further details from the other additional costs.
- Extra - Indicates extra costs and charges the user can include and change on the quotation.
- Calculated - Indicates the freight amount which is registered with the catalogues used. This cannot be edited.
- Total - Calculates Extra + Calculated.
Installation – Indicates extra costs and charges the user can include and change on the quotation.
Insurance – Operates in the same way as Installation.
Miscellaneous – Operates in the same way as Installation.
Operating Costs – Users can adjust the operating costs by entering figures in the % of item cost price and % of item sales price. Figures entered in all other fields will be included in the calculation. For more information, see Additional Costs: How to add operating costs.
Discounts (2) and (3) – These are further discounts applied to specific item groups. For more information, see Additional Costs: Discount (2) and (3).
VAT% – This can be modified to select a different percentage in the drop-down menu. New percentages can be made in VAT configuration. For more information, see Updating the VAT configuration.
Item group for amount – These drop-down menus allow the user to change the charges to be specified to one item group or to show in the total of the quotation. If changed from Show in total users can select the Visible tick box to show or hide it on the quotation, and select further discounts in Discount (2) and (3).
