In Winner, users can add a discount to the total cost of their quotation and add discounts on additional costs added to their quotation, for example discounts on additional costs for installation, freight and operating costs. Applying a discount to the total cost
At Alternative level:
- Click the Calculator icon:
- In the Quotation window, click Quotation, located at the bottom right of the window, and select Quotation setup/summary.
- In the Quotation setup window, select the Discounting tab.
- Under the Discounting tab, in the Totals column enter a percentage value in the Total discount (3) row in the % field.
Note: Users should ensure the % box is ticked. - Click OK.
Applying discounts to additional costs
Users are able to apply a discount to additional costs added to their quotation for example, shipping and transport. Users can add additional costs for Freight, Installation, Insurance, Miscellaneous costs and Operating costs.
At Alternative level:
- Click the Calculator icon:
- In the Quotation window, click Quotation, located at the bottom right of the window, and select Quotation setup/summary.
- In the Quotation setup window, select the Calculation tab.
- Enter the additional cost the user wishes to discount into the appropriate Cost price field for that row for example, Installation.
Note: If necessary, enter a percentage markup into the Markup% field. Users will see this automatically added to the Sales price field. - Left-click the Item group for amount drop-down menu and select an item group to apply the additional cost, and later the discount, to for example, Sinks.
- Tick the box alongside the Discount (2) and (3) field.
- Select the Discounting tab.
- Under the Discounting tab, locate the item group which the user selected to add additional costs to for example, Sinks.
- In the row Item group discount (2) enter the percentage discount in the % field for the appropriate item group column for example, Sinks.
Note: Users should ensure the % box is ticked. - Click OK.
