Introduction: What is Winner Flex?
Winner Flex is a design package that can quote and take you through the whole ordering process. Winner is connected to Flex, the platform that stores your data in the cloud and makes it available to your other computers running Winner and via a web browser. Planning, designing, quoting and rendering is produced in Winner. Viewing your customers, projects and sharing documents is managed by the Flex platform. Flex allows access to your data anywhere you log in to Winner. For example it makes working in the showroom and working at your home office easy, so you can continue working on the same designs. Winner Flex needs to be installed on your computers before your first use.
Here is a short introduction to Winner Flex, to click through at your own pace. It shows the features and benefits of Winner Flex.

Your user name for your account is your email address. Once this is completed you can add additional users. Follow this article: Winner Flex: How can I add new users?

Navigation of Flex
In Winner, every design, plan and quotation begins with creating a new Project. A project holds all information, drawings, and documents for the customer.
Once you have a project you will create a new Milieu (Room type) and then a new Alternative (Design). This video shows where you can find the Menu bar, the Toolbar, and the different windows in an Alternative.
We recommend following our Getting Started Learning Journey series of courses. They will guide you through the process of Designing, Presenting, Quoting and Ordering.
The 8 courses are:
1. Design: Preparing a Project
2. Design: Creating a Design
3. Present: Presenting a Design
4. Present: Exporting a Design
5. Quote: Generating a Quote
6. Quote: Calculating a Quote
7. Order: Processing an Order
8. Order: Completing an Order
Rendering
Before exporting a render, it is useful to read the tips below:
-
The perspective window shows a real-time render of your plan at the default viewpoint. It is beneficial to check a render on screen so you can adjust lighting and the contrast accordingly. Right-click the Perspective view window, and select Render. You will now see a render in the Perspective window.
-
The viewpoint is a camera angle which when setup, will maintain the view regardless of changes in your plan. You can setup multiple viewpoints by manoeuvring in the perspective window via the Viewpoint settings. Once these are saved, you can quickly switch between views, and export a high-quality render from your saved collection of viewpoints while continuing to work. Read Saving and changing viewpoints.
-
Once additional viewpoints are saved, you can export them to your documentation saved in the Flex platform or save and print locally. Follow the steps in Exporting a Design below to set your export image settings, how to export and explore rendering in 360º:
