Built-in appliances are set up in Winner to be prompted for selection once a housing unit has been placed. As built-in appliances require a housing unit, you will not be able browse in the selected catalogue for built-in appliances in the same way as freestanding appliances. You can add a built-in appliance in the plan without a housing unit only if you know and enter the complete code.
To be able to browse in the Select object window, you can choose to do the following:
- Place a housing unit and browse in the select a built in object (appliance) window.
- If you have an existing housing unit and want to browse for a replacement built-in appliance, you can replace it. See article Adding or replacing built in objects to appliance units already in a plan for more information.
- Add a New Item line in the quotation. You can use this method to browse and locate the code you need, and then cancel this process to enter the complete code as originally intended.
Add a New Item line
- Click the Show quotation window (calculator) icon in the toolbar.
- Click the New drop-down button in the bottom-left.
- Select Item line.
- Ensure the Catalogue and Item group drop-downs have the correct options selected.
- Click Add to.
You can now browse for built-in appliances. In the Code section, ensure the Search part of code box is ticked if you want to search on part of a code.
