File types that can be exported from Winner

Plans, perspectives and elevations can be exported in several different file types, they can then be shared with customers, colleagues etc.

  • Plan - .PNG, .BMP, .JPEG, .EMF, .DXF and  .IFC
    For detailed instructions on the .DXF format see article Exporting .DXF files of a plan.
    For detailed instructions on the .IFC format see article How to export an .IFC file
  • Perspective - image file type .PNG, .BMP, .JPEG.  It can also be exported as a video file type .AVI
  • Elevation - .PNG, .BMP, .JPEG, .EMF

Note: Plans, perspectives and elevations can also be exported as .PDF using the print function see article Printing the Plan, the Perspective or the Elevation

For all formats, other than .DXF, .IFC and .PDF, please follow the instructions below:

 

Exporting

At Alternative level in Furnishing mode: 

  1. Select the plan, perspective or elevation by clicking in it and on the Menu bar, click on either Plan, Perspective or Elevation and select Export.
  2. In the Save window, give the file/document a name and choose to save the file in the default location or browse to where it is to be saved in the Save in box.
    Note: In Winner Flex the options are to Save and upload or Save locally only.  If the latter is selected, in the Save as window browse to the location in which the document is to be saved.

  3. In the File type drop-down, select the required file format. 
    Note: In Winner legacy you can also tick the Add to attachment list box in the bottom left of the Save as window if required.   For more information see Preparing an attachment for Email.
  4. Click Save in Winner legacy or OK in Winner Flex. 
  5. After exporting, you can quickly access the file:
  • In Winner legacy on the Menu bar, click Alternative and select View Export directory.
  • In Winner Flex if you have selected Save and upload you can access the documents on the Flex platform quickly by using Quick access to project documents. 

    Sharing the file/document

    In Winner legacy only - by preparing an attachment for Email

  1. In the Menu bar, click on Alternative and select Prepared attachments.
  2. Tick the boxes on the left in the table to decide which files to include to print or email.

  3. Extra files can be added using the Drag & drop function or click Add file.
  4. Click Send E-mail.
  5. In the E-mail addresses window, click on the drop down to select the recipient.  
    Note: If you have not already entered an email address for the recipient in project details, click Unspecified and enter it manually.

  6. Click OK.
