A .DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) file is used to be inserted into compatible software. This can be converted into a .DWG file, however this will require the use of external software not provided by Compusoft.
Please note:
- .DXF export is only possible for the floor plan.
- If using the .DXF file, the walls will not be visible.
- Furniture will be visible in two-dimensions.
Exporting a .DXF file
- In your Alternative, click on the Furnishing mode icon in the Toolbar.
- Click in the plan to select it and then on the Menu bar, click on Plan and select Export.
- In the Save window, give the file/document a name and choose to save the file in the default location or browse to where it is to be saved in the Save in box.
Note: In Winner Flex the options are to Save and upload or Save locally only. If the latter is selected, in the Save as window browse to the location in which the document is to be saved. - In the Save as type/File type drop-down, select DXF.
Note: In Winner legacy you can also tick the Add to attachment list box in the bottom left of the Save as window if required. For more information see Preparing an attachment for Email.
- Click Save in Winner legacy or OK in Winner Flex.
- After exporting, you can quickly access the file:
- In Winner legacy on the Menu bar, click Alternative and select View Export directory.
- In Winner Flex if you have selected Save and upload you can access the documents on the Flex platform quickly by using Quick access to project documents.
Sharing the file/document
In Winner legacy only - by preparing an attachment for Email
- In the Menu bar, click on Alternative and select Prepared attachments.
- Tick the boxes on the left in the table to decide which files to include to print or email.
- Extra files can be added using the Drag & drop function or click Add file.
- Click Send E-mail.
- In the E-mail addresses window, click on the drop-down to select the recipient.
Note: If you have not already entered an email address for the recipient in project details, click Unspecified and enter it manually. - Click OK.
