Worktops can be a great design feature in a kitchen. Winner offers the possibility to install several types of worktops connected to the floor. This article instructs you how to install a sideboard worktop or dovetailed sideboard worktop and price them. These are where the worktop connects to the floor on two sides.
To install the sideboard worktops
In Furnishing mode:
- Click on Standard products.
- Open Worktops > Miscellaneous.
- Choose Fixed worktop W315 009B for a sideboard worktop or the Fixed worktop W500 069 for a sideboard worktop with dovetailed joints.
- Click OK to add to the plan.
- Adjust the Depth, Width, Height and Thickness to match the existing worktop.
- Position the feature to line up with the edge of the worktop.
Note: Double-clicking either of the sideboard worktops enables you to make changes to the Object parameters to customise them to your requirements.
Note! Furniture/Worktop visibility - Worktops by default are not visible in the Furnishing mode plan.
- The object Fixed worktop (W315 009B) is by default set as furniture (a table/fixed worktop) rather than a worktop that could be priced. This means it will show in the Furnishing plan, but not in Worktop scheme mode. See Pricing the sideboard worktops below to change this.
- The object Fixed worktop with dovetailed joints (W500 069) is by default set as a non-fixed worktop and will show in Worktop scheme mode. It will not show the surface in the Furnishing plan, unless you set it to be visible. See article Show or hide the worktops in the Plan.
Pricing the sideboard worktops
- Parts of the object will require manual pricing, for example the legs have to be priced manually for both types of sideboard worktop - see article Adding a new or additional line in the quotation.
- The surface of the dovetailed sideboard worktop (W500 069) will price automatically as it is a non-fixed worktop by default. See article How to price worktops for more information.
For the surface of the sideboard worktop (W315 009B) to price automatically:
- Double-click the sideboard worktop to open Object Parameters.
- Find Worktop, fixed in the Parameters list and set to Off.
- Find Worktop in the Parameters list and set to On.
