Bi-fold doors can be a great way to connect the inside of a kitchen to an outside space like a garden or patio. Winner also has the option of inserting bi-fold windows.
Note: In this article you are given specific item codes to use, to find an item code: In the Select object window click the Search button on the right-hand side and enter the code in the pop-up box, then click OK.
Insert bi-fold doors
In Room Definition mode,
- Click on the wall the bi-fold door or window will be added to.
- In the tool bar, click on Add wall object:
Or: Right-click on the wall and choose Add object. - For a flush mounted set of doors: click on Partition wall systems and select Partition wall system (#03) W000 303
or
For a set of doors with a wall reveal: click Doors > Door, double and select (#04) W000 073
Note: you can change the number of doors in the Object parameters. - Click OK.
- Set parameters for the doors and click OK to confirm.
- Select placement of the door and click OK to confirm.
Object parameters
To access the object parameters double-click on the doors you have placed. There are many features you can edit here such as:
- Change the opening direction of the doors by selecting Door type and choose from the drop-down box Inwards or Outwards.
- Change the Number of doors by entering a value in the box at the foot of the object parameters window.
- Change the overall Width which will increase the width of each door.
- Turn handles on or off.
Click OK to confirm any changes.

Insert bi-fold windows
In Room Definition mode,
- Click on the wall the bi-fold window will be added to.
- In the tool bar, click on Add wall object:
Or: Right-click on the wall and choose Add object. - Click on Windows and select Miscellaneous.
- Choose W001 201 and click OK.
- Set parameters for the windows and click OK to confirm.
- Select placement of the windows and click OK to confirm.
Note: To change the opening direction of the windows, double-click on the windows to open the Object parameters and choose Window type as either Inwards or Outwards, then click OK to confirm.
