You may wish to delete a catalogue from your database if, for example, you no longer use a supplier. Also every time you download a catalogue update, the previous version is still retained in your database. Therefore it is recommended that you delete the old versions, using the multiple delete function, so that your database does not get overloaded. Winner will now bring up a warning on opening if your catalogue database is 3.5GB or more.
To delete an individual catalogue
At Project level:
- Click Register on the menu bar.
- Select Catalogues.
- Select the catalogue to be deleted in the list of installed catalogues.
- Click Catalogue at the top left of the open window and select Delete.
Note: If you no longer wish to receive updates for a catalogue you have deleted, you will need to ask your local support team to remove it from your account.
To delete multiple catalogues
At Project level:
- Click Register on the menu bar.
- Select Catalogues.
- Tick the Show all revisions box at the bottom right of the window.
- Click Catalogue at the top left of the open window and select Multiple delete.
Note: You will only be shown earlier versions of the catalogues, if you wish to see/delete multiple current versions as well, untick the Hide latest revision box at the bottom left of the window. - Tick the boxes of all catalogues to be deleted.
- Click the Delete button at the bottom right of the screen.
