This article provides a detailed description of the Interior Wall Properties window. When you have drawn a false or interior wall, you can make adjustments to its properties.
If in Furnishing mode:
In the perspective click the false/internal wall to highlight it, right-click and select Properties.
If in Room definition mode:
Click between the two edges of the wall so that all edges are highlighted in red, right-click and select Interior Wall Properties.
-
Height
The false wall’s height. This is assigned the same height as the ceiling by default.
-
Act as filler with wall material
If you tick this field the walls will not be numbered.
Use this function when the false wall you draw is not to be used as a regular false wall (room parts), but as filler where you want to use the same material as on the walls.
You can later alter the type of false wall by turning this field off/on.
-
Distance from floor
To be able to set the Distance from floor can be useful if you have a special architecture and it is necessary to put a false wall above the floor, for example an Rolled Steel Joist (RSJ) beam.
NOTE! When you insert a window or a niche in a false wall, be aware that such wall objects still refer to the distance from the floor.
-
Worktop
Specify whether you want a worktop over the false wall’s top surface.
NOTE! If you select Auto in the list, Winner will automatically place a worktop on the false wall’s top surface provided that the height is below standard wall unit height.
-
Covering panel
To add a covering panel over the false wall’s top, turn the Covering panel option to On.
-
Tiles above interior wall
Specify whether you want tiles placed on a false wall. This will be relevant for example to draw a cooker in a corner arrangement or bar arrangement.
-
Skirting
Auto: The skirting will automatically be turned on.
NOTE! If skirting is set to Auto and the false wall is not placed at floor height, the false wall will not get skirting.
On: Forces skirting on.
Off: Forces skirting off. -
Coving
Auto: The coving will automatically be turned on.
NOTE! If coving is set to Auto and the false wall has top height different from ceiling height, coving will not be generated.
On: Forces coving on.
Off: Forces coving off. -
Colour
Click on this button to decorate the false wall. You can add colour/decor to all or part of the false wall.
