In Winner you can decorate a room by assigning required materials or colours, and/or assigning required free-drawn decors.
When you have assigned a room with the correct colours/decors, you can save them for use at a later stage in other projects without having to re-define them.
Saving a room palette
If you have decorated a room with materials/colours and any wall decor that you might want to save for later use, do the following:
- Make sure that you are in the plan drawing in the room definition window.
- Click once outside the room, to ensure that no wall is highlighted.
- Right click and select Room colours / Save room palette as.
Winner opens a dialogue box for selecting name and destination for the colour/decor. - Enter the name you want this room palette to have in the File name field. The file will be saved in RPL format (RPL=Room Palette).
NOTE: Free-drawn decors on the floor and ceiling will NOT be saved in the room palette.
You can save up to 500 profiles. The Rpl files are independent files. I.e.- they can be used on other computers/Winner installations, by copying them from the folder where they are stored. Please contact your local Compusoft Support team for help with this.
Selecting a room palette
- In Room definition mode right-click and select Room colors > Fetch room palette
- All available room palettes that belong to the selected group will be displayed on the right side of the window.
- Double click on the icon of the room palette you want to use, or click OK when the correct room palette is highlighted.
