In Winner the word installations is used for switches, pipes, sockets and other types of installations.
When inserting the installations, you sometimes need to adjust their placement adhering to pre-determined measurements. You can also adjust the dimensions of the installation for your own kitchen and appliances.
- Click on the Room definition mode:
- To select the installation object go to the Elevation window and click the installation you want to work with.
Note: You can also select the installation from the Room surfaces/objects menu located in the top-right hand corner next to the Perspective window, by clicking on the arrow to the left of, for example, the wall this will then show all things attached to that wall. - Click with the right mouse button and select Properties.
Note: This can also be done in the Plan selecting Installations properties.
Either of these options will open the Object parameters window.
To reposition the installation object
- In the Object parameters window, choose the option Placement below the installation code.
- Click on the Distance fields to input the correct values. You can enter the exact measurements (in millimetres) at the bottom of the screen.
OR
Drag and drop the installation object in the plan or elevation. Whilst doing this the placement measurements will appear on the plan or elevation.
To resize the installation object
- In the Object parameters window, choose the option Parameters below the installation code.
- Here you can resize the installation object by entering new values at the bottom of the screen.
- You can also alter many of the other parameters of installation objects in this list.
Tip: the installation object size often makes it difficult to see or select in the plan or elevation. Click on the Zoom icon in the toolbar and drag an area over the object with the left mouse button. This will enlarge the object.
