Drawing a round / circular worktop
- In Furnishing mode, click in the Plan view, select the Draw/edit worktop icon.
- Draw one line the length of the circle diameter.
- While the line is highlighted, press A on the keyboard or right-click and select Swap line/arc.
- Draw the second line to close the shape where the first line started, and set the height position and object properties.
Note: Do not code a worktop in Furnishing mode, so select Skip when asked to select product.
You will now have a half circle worktop shape. - Select Draw / edit worktop icon again.
- Select the black mouse cursor (Select tool).
- Click the straight line / edge of the worktop to highlight the line.
- Press A on the keyboard or right-click and select Swap line/arc. This will arc the line to a complete circle shape.
- Select the white mouse cursor icon to exit the free drawing mode.
The round / circular shape worktop is complete.
Drawing an oval worktop
- In Furnishing mode, on the Plan view, select the Draw/edit worktop icon.
- Select the draw rectangle pencil to the right of this icon.
- Draw a square with line lengths the diameter of the oval. This can also be a rectangle shape. To draw the rectangle left click and release the mouse button to set the starting point of the shape, then left click again and drag out the shape to the required size.
Note: to increase/decrease the shape size in smaller increments, hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard whilst dragging out the shape. - Set the height position and object parameters.
Note: Do not code a worktop in Furnishing mode, so select Skip when asked to select product.
You will now have a square worktop shape. - Select Draw / edit worktop icon again.
- Select the black mouse cursor (Select tool).
- Select the line / edge on one side of the square, to highlight it.
- Press A on the keyboard or right-click and select Swap line/arc.
- Select the line / edge on the other side of the square, to highlight it.
- Press A on the keyboard or right-click and select Swap line/arc.
- Select the white mouse cursor icon to exit the free drawing mode.
The oval worktop shape is now complete
