At project level:
- Navigate in top menu to Register > Catalogues.
- Click on the manufacturer you want to import the blocks and click on the top menu Catalogue.
- Select Import blocks from IDM.
- It opens up a window where you select the file and click on Open.
- If you do not have your blocks in a zip folder change the Files of type, at the bottom of the window, to *.csv or *.xml dependent on your file type.
- In the Convert blocks window you can check or uncheck the tick box Delete old blocks.
Note: the last used selection will be retained and automatically preselected for the next import. - Also in this window you can select run as background process. This enable you to continue using Winner whilst the conversion takes place i.e. if this box is not checked then you cannot use Winner until conversion is complete.
- Click Convert.
- If you ran the process in the background when it is complete a dialog box will inform you that the blocks are ready to be installed:
- Click Yes.
- For Winner Design Legacy, once you click Yes the blocks are automatically integrated and available for use.
- For Winner Flex only the following dialog appears:
- Click OK.
- Open the Registered catalogues window select the relevant catalogue and click the Blocks button.
- In the Blocks calculation window select System on the menu bar, then Import Blocks.
- Open the converted file and the blocks will be imported and available for use.
