Housing for highboards, cabinets, objects and appliances such as freezers or fridges can be created in Winner by using the Free drawing of filler tool. It is a nice way to complete a kitchen design and make it feel coherent.
In Furnishing mode, on the Plan view,
- Select the Free drawing of filler icon from the Toolbar:
- Draw the first line from the front corner to the back corner of the unit:
- Complete the filler by selecting Close figure with indicated thickness icon:
- In the Complete: indicate thickness window, type in the Depth of the filler (thickness).
- Select the direction either left/anti clockwise or right/clockwise, (relevant to the direction the cursor is facing) and click OK.
- Select the height position and if needed, choose a code for the filler panel or click Skip.
- Set the appropriate height of the filler panel in the object properties window and click OK.
- Update the model/Price information if needed and click OK.
- Copy the filler panel over to the other side of the cupboard:
- To add a panel on the top, select the Free drawing of filler icon:
- Using the Draw rectangle tool, draw the filler to cover the top surface including the side fillers.
- Select the height position and if needed, choose a code for the filler, or click Skip.
- Set the appropriate height of the filler in the object parameters and click OK.
- If needed, copy the top filler and paste it below the object to complete the box:
Note: Leave a space / gap next to and above appliances to fit the housing later.
Example of the same process followed to create a box around an appliance object set directly on the floor:
