You can change the profit margins and the index settings for an individual design or project. There are two ways to do this: adjust the profit margin in the Quotation setup/summary or update the catalogue index settings at the project or design level.

Updating the index settings on a design
At Design level:
- In the toolbar, select Design > Settings or, select F7 on your keyboard.
- In the Drawing settings window select Price calculation.
- This will open the Catalogue information window, here you can amend the index settings and the changes will apply only to the open design.
Note: This can be reset to the Catalogue level amount by clicking the reset button.
Changing the profit margin on a design
At Design level:
- Click the Calculator icon:
- In the Quotation window, click Quotation and select Quotation setup/summary.
- In the Quotation setup window, click on the Calculation tab.
- Under the Calculation tab, in the Profit calculation section, click Profit Margins.
- In the Profit margins settings window, users can adjust the amount of profit needed as required.
- Click OK.
Note! Once the profit margins have been adjusted the quotation will automatically update.
