When appliance housing or niche units are placed in a plan, the next prompt will be to select a built in object (appliance) for the unit. It is highly recommended that you use this moment to browse for your built-in object. If you do not have the relevant catalogue at that time, or want to leave the choice for later, you can click skip.
NOTE: If you need to browse for an object, you will have go through the housing placement process again. Therefore, replace the complete housing unit to begin the appliance prompt.
- If the unit is specific to a certain appliance, the unit will then be placed with a generic object of the appliance with no codes.
When ready to update the unit, the quickest method for specific unit housing is to Replace the generic appliance. Replacing also means you can browse for options.
- If the unit is set to an Anything niche unit, it will be placed with a void.
When ready to update the unit, it can be added either Directly from the complete code or Copied from an existing appliance, however further adjustments may be required - such as the height and width of the housing parameters, or the height placement of the built-in object.
Note: For more information, see Rebuilding a Unit.
