On occasion you may require a cabinet with a slanted or sloping top for example if you are placing it beneath a staircase or angled ceiling.
Follow the instructions below to achieve this result:

To insert the carcass
- In furnishing mode move the cursor to where you want to place the unit.
- Click on Standard products on the right-hand side of your screen.
- Go to extra doors and cupboards and select the appropriate carcass - there are two one slopes on one side only and the other slopes both sides.
Note: the door will be added later. - Select code for this unit or Skip.
- Select height position for example wall unit, on plinths (up).
- Set the parameters for the object and click OK.
To switch the slope to the opposite side or adjust dimensions of the unit
The slope defaults to the right side if you wish to have it on the left:
- Double click the unit to open object parameters.
- In the list of parameters on the right select Direction.
- In the drop-down options at the bottom of the dialog box select Left.
Note: the parameters list also contains dimensions of the unit. To adjust these select the dimension and change it by typing the new value in the box at the bottom of the dialog box. You can also remove the handle by highlighting it in the list and selecting off in the drop-down options box at the bottom of the dialog box. If you do not want a flat top then set the width of top to zero.
To add a door to the carcass
- Double click the unit to open object parameters.
- Expand Front surfaces on the left.
- Select the Cupboard listed.
- Click on Element > Insert element in the menu bar.
- Under Element type select Door.
Note: it will automatically place a door matching the model/colours selected for the design.
