There are two ways to change the colour of a cabinet:
- Changing the model will provide the changed information for the manufacturer in your order.
- Changing the colour in properties will change the look in your plan but not alter the order specifications.
Change model
To change model, take the following steps:
- Select the cabinet you wish to change.
- Right-click on the cabinet.
- Select Change Model.
The Change model window will show the model you are in, and Special.
- Select Special.
- Choose your changes in the Select model window and then click OK.
Your changes will have been saved if you want to change other cabinets to the same finish. Do steps 1-3 on a different cabinet and you will see your change as an option.
Properties
To change the colour in properties, take the following steps:
- Select the object you want to change.
- Right-click on the object.
- Select Properties.
- In the Object Parameters window, click the Colours button at the top of the window.
Components of the object will be listed in the Assign material to surface window. Some objects will have further components to change by clicking the General drop-down.
- Select the component to change.
- Click Select material.
In the Material choice window, there is a library of materials to select. Materials provided by the Supplier’s catalogue, Winner Design’s Global resource, and the materials and images imported by you in Customised for the Alternative.
- Select a material and click OK.
- Your change will now show in the Preview. You can copy and paste your highlighted component’s material onto other parts if required. Click OK to confirm changes.
