In Winner, there a several reasons why the worktop upstand may be missing. Such as, the drawing settings, the selected manufacturer's catalogue, the edge properties, and the worktop positioning.
Select an upstand model
Check that an upstand is selected in the Drawing settings. See article Adding an Upstand to a Worktop for more guidance.
Select a Catalogue with an upstand
The supplier you have selected may not provide an upstand option. Check that you have a relevant worktop catalogue selected.
Check edge properties
At Alternative level, in Worktop scheme mode:
- Click on the worktop edge that is missing an upstand.
- Right-click and select Properties.
- In the Edge properties window, ensure the edge is set to a back edge and untick the Can't have upstand box.
- Click OK.
Check the positioning of the worktop
Check that the worktop is directly adjacent with the edge where you want an upstand to appear.
For example, if the unit is placed away from the wall, the automatic drawing of a worktop will not connect to the back wall:
This means that the upstand will be missing, as it is set to be drawn when the back of the worktop is directly adjacent to the wall.
To solve this, you can:
-
Move the unit to be flush with the wall
- Extend the worktop to to connect to the wall by adjusting the worktop freehand. See Split/cut, adjust and connect worktops for more information.
- Use automatic offset from wall to draw a filler behind the unit so the worktop is automatically drawn over it:
1. Select the unit:
2. Select Object > Automatic offset from wall > User defined offset.
3. Click OK.
Winner will automatically add a virtual and transparent filler between the cabinet and the wall.
See Automatic offset from wall for further guidance.
