In Winner, the appearance of a rendered image is affected by a number of factors, including the colour of lighting. A user could make a room appear larger for example, by using lightweight floor and wall coverings, a uniform flooring scheme, large tiles, fewer dark textures and emphasising wall colours rather than patterns.
Use of light colour in a room
Users can use different colour gradients of light to achieve visually interesting results that can help maximise the design potential of a room, for example by using:
-
Warm colours - Use shades from red to yellow.
- Cold colours - Use shades from blue to green.
Users can also use contrasting colours to exaggerate detail or draw the eye to a certain part of the room, for example by using:
-
Additional contrast - Use complementary colours.
-
Hot-cold contrast - Combine both warm and cool colours.
-
Achromatic-coloured contrast - Combine both achromatic shades with colour.
- Light-dark contrast - Combine both saturated colours and desaturated colours.
