Windows with an embrasure or angled reveal

In Winner, users can add windows with an embrasure. An embrasure, or angled reveal, is an opening in a wall which is bevelled or splayed out on the inside, as shown below:

To access a window for the wall

At Alternative level:

  1. Select Room Definition from the drawing modes:

  2. Select the wall you want to add a Window to.

  3. Either right-click and select Add object.

    OR

    Click on the     Add wall object to selected wall button:

  4. Select the Windows drop-down menu from the Wall Objects list, located on the left-hand side of the screen.

  5. Select Window, special.

  6. Select a window with an embrasure and click OK.
    Note: if you are unsure if the window has an embrasure, left-click to select it and then click and drag to rotate the selected window in the preview window.

  7. Set your window dimensions and click OK.

  8. Set the window placement and click OK.
