You may wish to delete a catalog from your database if, for example, you no longer use a supplier. Also every time you download a catalog update, the previous version is still retained in your database. Therefore it is recommended that you delete the old versions, using the multiple delete function, so that your database does not get overloaded. Winner will now bring up a warning on opening if your catalog database is 3.5GB or more.
To delete an individual catalog
At Project level:
- Click Register on the menu bar.
- Select Catalogs.
- Select the catalog to be deleted in the list of installed catalogs.
- Click Catalog at the top left of the open window and select Delete.
Note: If you no longer wish to receive updates for a catalog you have deleted, you will need to ask your local support team to remove it from your account.
To delete multiple catalogs
At Project level:
- Click Register on the menu bar.
- Select Catalogs.
- Tick the Show all revisions box at the bottom right of the window.
- Click Catalog at the top left of the open window and select Multiple delete.
Note: You will only be shown earlier versions of the catalogs, if you wish to see/delete multiple current versions as well, untick the Hide latest revision box at the bottom left of the window. - Tick the boxes of all catalogs to be deleted.
- Click the Delete button at the bottom right of the screen.
