If the customer does not know the angle between two walls, they often take three measurements, as shown in the picture below:

**A = 4600****B = 2800****C = 5972**

**a = the angle value to calculate**

The **Calculate the angle based on lengths** tool will calculate the angle for '**a**' as you begin to draw your room. Take the following steps:

- Draw the two walls that you want to calculate the angle between, with the correct measurements.
- Click the
**Select tool**icon in the tool bar - Click the last wall to highlight it
- Right-click and select
**Wall properties...**

The angle is currently at 90.0. - Click on the
**more options button**to the right of the Angle section. - In the Calculate the angle based on lengths window, enter the values for A, B and C and press
**OK**. - In the Wall Properties window, the Angle will be updated:
- Click
**OK**. The wall will now be adjusted to the new angle and you can continue to draw your room.
