You can create Free drawing of filler in your Alternative to act like a curved wall, or use a building block in Standard products.
Curved walls will not be able to have doors or windows inserted like an actual wall in the plan.
Standard product
- Move the cursor to the corner of the room that you want to look curved.
- Select the option Standard products.
- Select the option Interior, building blocks from the menu.
- Select the item Curve W500 214B.
- Click OK.
- Set the height position as On floor, (Up) and click OK.
- Set the Height of the object to the same height as the walls in the plan (the default height is 2400mm).
- Set the Radius of the object to the radius of the curve that you need.
- Click OK.
Free drawing of filler
- Click on the Furnishing mode icon
- Click on the Free drawing of filler icon.
- Click on the inside corner where you want to have a curved wall and drag it to the length that you want the curve to follow.
- Click or drag the filler line to where the curve will end on the opposite wall.
- Click on the Close figure with one line icon.
- As it is a filler, the Select product window will prompt you to select a code. Click Skip.
- In the Object properties window, change the Height of the object to the same height as the walls in the plan (the default height is 2400mm). Click on Colour in the Text field and in the drop-down select Wall to make the colour the same as the walls in the room.
- Click OK.
- Click the Free drawing of filler icon.
- Click the Select tool icon.
- Select the line of the drawn filler you want make curved.
- Right-click and go to Swap line/arc.
- Click and hold the centre point of the curved line and drag inward or outward to increase the curve radius as required.
NOTE: To drag in smaller increments hold down shift or shift and Ctrl key whilst dragging.
The curved filler is now complete and will appear seamless when rendered.
