You can personalise your Alternative by importing your own images. These can be used as a material to use as a background, such as scenery, or on an object. You can also replace an image with your imported one to personalise things such as pictures on the wall, television screens, oven fronts etc.
The types of formats Winner can use are: .jpg, .jpeg, .tga, .dds, .png.
Add your own image files
- In an Alternative, select the object you want to integrate your image on. For example, if it is a background, click on a window in Room definition mode.
Note: If it is part of an object such as an oven front you may need to double-click the object, to open the Object Parameters and click on the Colours button then continue from step 3. - Click on the Edit colour settings icon.
- In the Assign material to surface window, select the component to change the material on and click on the Select material button on the right-hand side of the window.
In the Material choice window, there are three options in the Select material library box:
Supplier
Global
Customised for the Alternative
- Click on Customised for the Alternative.
- Click on the Import from file button.
- Select your image and click Open.
- In the Custom material properties window, you can define the size and appearance of your image as a material.
- Click OK.
- Your image will now be listed in the Materials for Customised for the Alternative.
- Select your newly created material and click OK.
- The image will appear in the material preview of the Assign material to surface window. Click OK to confirm.
- The image will now appear in your alternative.
Note: Your imported image is now stored in the Customised for the alternative material library and can be used again, if required.
