In Winner you can make walls invisible in your Plan - for instance if you want to allow more light into a design. Internal room objects, such as internal (false) walls, can been made invisible using the invisible material code. Outer walls can be set to Is invisible wall.
External wall
- Click on the Room definition mode icon in the Toolbar
- In the Plan window, select the wall you wish to make invisible and right-click.
- Click on Is invisible wall.
Once these 3 steps are completed, your invisible wall will be represented by dotted points in the Plan window. It will not be visible in your Perspective window, or in VR Mode.
Internal wall
To make an internal wall invisible you need to assign the invisible material code to it:
- When you have drawn the internal wall the Interior wall properties window opens.
- Click on the Colour button, this opens the Assign material to surface window.
- Delete the code in the ID: box at the top right hand corner of the window and replace it with the code 3003, which is the code for invisible material.
- Click OK and OK again.
Your wall will now only be visible in the plan and elevation views. It will not be visible in your Perspective window, or in VR Mode.
Note: If you have already drawn the internal wall and then want to make it invisible, you would need to select it in Room definition mode and right click and select Interior wall properties then proceed from Step 2. above.
