Introducing Picklists — a faster way to design

Working with frequently used group of items in Winner wasn’t straightforward. Favorite filter today is powerful, but limited to a single catalogue, and it wasn’t possible to share a predefined list of items with designers or sales people—for example, showroom items, campaign articles, or a set of items you want to push in sales, or simply a list the designer should consider in the design for a specific project.

Picklists solve this. You can now select multiple items from any catalogue, group them into lists, and reuse them anytime. Create groups for different budgets—like low, medium, or high-end—or manage campaign or showroom items centrally. Shared picklists can be restricted so only certain people can edit them. You can also load multiple picklists at once, making it faster to find and add the items you need for any project.

Restrict editing of shared picklists to designated users.
Save private picklists just for yourself.

New Symbols in the Catalogue Browser

The catalogue browser now uses a refreshed set of icons updated to replace the previous text‑based headers, creating a cleaner, more consistent, and more modern UI.

When you hover over each icon, a tooltip clearly displays the name of the section, helping new and experienced users quickly identify what each icon represents. For more information on the Catalogue Browser click here.

Pin browser to stay on top when undocked

A pin option has been added to the browser, allowing it to remain on top of other windows when undocked.

This improvement makes it easier to work across multiple screens by keeping the browser visible while interacting with other areas of the application. When pinned, the undocked browser no longer gets hidden behind other windows, helping maintain focus and reducing the need to constantly bring it back to the foreground.

VRML Export Improvements

VRML is a 3D file format. Winner’s VRML export lets you save the 3D scene in VRML format for use in third-party applications. The VRML export process has been updated to provide a consistent experience across Winner Design and Winner Flex. Instead of generating separate files and folders, designs exported as VRML are now packaged into a single .zip file that contains all required assets. New security role for program updates

Previously, any user allowed to download catalogues could also see and download new software versions or binpatches. This caused issues for organisations that need tighter control over software updates.

This update introduces separate security roles for catalogue downloads and program update downloads, ensuring users only see and access what they are allowed to use. For more information on Security Roles click here.

Replace option added to Perspective View (Room Definition)

The Replace option is now available in the Perspective View when working in Room Definition mode.

Previously, this option was only available in the Plan View and Elevation View, which could lead to an inconsistent editing experience. This update brings the Perspective View in line with the other views, ensuring a more consistent and predictable workflow when replacing room objects.

Warning shown when screen resolution is below the recommended minimum

A new warning is now displayed when Winner is used on a screen resolution below the recommended minimum of 1920×1080.

At startup, Winner checks the effective screen resolution (including zoom or scaling). If the resolution falls below the recommended threshold, a warning is shown to inform users that this may result in missing or misplaced content. This helps you understand potential display issues when working on lower‑resolution or highly scaled screens.

Clearer unit information in the Winner Block dialogue

The Winner Block calculation dialogue has been updated to display clearer unit information for products that use a different Show as unit than the unit used for calculation.

Some catalogues contain articles that are calculated with a price per decimeter in the catalogue, but should be presented as meters in the quotation. These differences were not clearly highlighted in the block calculation dialogue before. To reduce confusion, an additional Price unit column has been added to the block dialogue for clarity. When changing a product, the Unit, Price unit, and related product group information are now updated consistently, ensuring the displayed units better reflect how products are shown and priced. CMC updates

Improved handling of optional and mandatory codes across catalogues

Collections for optional and mandatory codes have been enhanced to better support articles that originate from other catalogues.

When an article assigned to a collection comes from a different catalogue, Winner now references the latest installed version of that catalogue when the article is inserted. This closes a gap when working with cross‑catalogue collections and ensures more consistent behaviour when optional or mandatory codes are linked from external catalogues. Import all catalogue customisations in one step

When upgrading to a newer catalogue version, it is now possible to import all existing customisations at once.

Previously, each customisation had to be imported individually, requiring multiple manual actions. This update introduces a single import option that transfers all customisations for the selected catalogue in one step, significantly reducing effort and making catalogue upgrades faster and more efficient. Performance enhancements

We continue to invest in ongoing speed and stability improvements across core workflows. Each update includes behind‑the‑scenes optimisations designed to reduce crashes, improve responsiveness, and make everyday tasks feel smoother and more reliable.

Flex Cloud

Recent Designs widget added to the Dashboard

A new Recent Designs widget is now available on the Flex Dashboard. This widget displays a user’s most recent designs directly on the dashboard, allowing designs to be opened with a single click instead of navigating through projects first. Add the widget via the option Configure Dashboard, click here for more information on how to configure your dashboard.

Project Default Values at Company Level

You can now set project default values at the company level, making it easier for retailers to standardise new projects across all users. Administrators can define default values for Space name, Design name, Designer, and Salesperson, which are automatically applied when users create new projects, unless they have personalised their own defaults in User Preferences. This update removes the need for large teams to update settings individually and ensures greater consistency across the organisation. For more information on Company settings click here.

Multi‑Shop Customer Export

This update introduces a faster, more efficient way for Admin users to export customer information when working across multiple shops.

Previously, users had to repeat the export process for each shop individually. The new rule means that the export will contain the contacts from all shops that you have access to. This removes manual effort by generating a single combined export file. For more information click here.
