In Winner, users can create a 360° panoramic render of their plan. These 360° renders can be shown to customers onscreen or shared with them using Showcase 360. For more information, see What is Showcase 360?
Creating a 360° render
There are three stages in the creation of a 360° render:
- Creating viewpoints in VR Mode
- Adjusting settings for photorealistic rendering
- Creating a 360° render
After creating a 360° render, users can then view their 360° render and share their 360° render.
Creating viewpoints in VR Mode
Viewpoints are used as the centre point for creating a 360° render for example, if a user wished to show two different areas of a room they might use two viewpoints and create two 360° renders.
At Alternative level:
- Right-click the Perspective view window and select Perspective > VR Mode.
Note: Or, with the Perspective view window selected, press Ctrl +M on the keyboard. - Right-click the Perspective view window and select Perspective > Viewpoints > Viewpoint.
Note: Or, with the Perspective view window selected, press Ctrl +E on the keyboard. - In the Viewpoint settings window, move the mouse cursor over the black circle, representing the current viewpoint, in the floor plan:
Note: The mouse cursor will change into a crosshair. - Left-click, hold and move the mouse cursor to drag the viewpoint to the desired location in the room.
- Use the Rotation, Zoom, View angle, Eye point height and Brightness to adjust the viewpoint.
- Click Save As.
- In the Enter a name for the viewpoint dialogue box, enter a name in the Name field and click OK.
Note: The default name is "Viewpoint 01" this increases in ascending order with each new viewpoint saved for example, "Viewpoint 02" and "Viewpoint 03". - Under Viewpoints, for the desired viewpoint tick the box next to the 360° icon:
Note: Users with more than one viewpoint in the list should tick the box next to the 360° icon for all the desired viewpoints.
Adjusting settings for photorealistic rendering
Once the user has created the desired viewpoints for their 360 render, they should consider adjusting some settings to achieve a high quality render for example, lighting and tonemapper settings.

Creating a 360° render
Once the user has created the desired viewpoints and adjusted settings for creating photorealistic renders to their satisfaction, they can now begin the 360° render.
At Alternative level:
- Right-click the Perspective view window and select Perspective > Viewpoints > Viewpoint.
Note: Or, with the Perspective view window selected, press Ctrl +E on the keyboard. - In the Viewpoint settings window, under Viewpoints, left-click to select the desired viewpoint for the 360° render.
Note: Press and hold the Shift key to select multiple viewpoints. - Click Render 360°.
- In the 360° rendering settings window, select the desired rendering settings.
Note: Using higher quality rendering settings and rendering multiple viewpoints will take longer. For more information about noise reduction, see How to reduce digital noise. - Click OK.
The 360° render will start. Users can view the progress in the Photo-realistic imaging manager window. For more information, see Photo-realistic imaging manager.
Viewing a 360° render
Once the 360° rendering has completed, they will be available to view in the Perspective view window.
At Alternative level:
- Right-click the Perspective view window and select Perspective > 360° preview mode.
Note: Or, with the Perspective view window selected, press Ctrl + Shift + E on the keyboard.

- To enter full-screen mode, right-click the Perspective view window and select Perspective > Toggle full-screen mode.
Note: Or, with the Perspective view window selected, press Ctrl + F on the keyboard. - If the user has rendered more than one viewpoint, they will see it represented as an Eye icon in the Perspective view window whilst in 360° preview mode. To view another viewpoint, move the mouse cursor over the Eye icon, which will then display a preview pane of the viewpoint, and left-click.
- Winner Flex users can also view their 360° renders in the Flex platform on any device. For more information, see Winner Flex: 360 Panoramic Rendering.
- To enter full-screen mode, right-click the Perspective view window and select Perspective > Toggle full-screen mode.
Sharing a 360° render
To share a 360° render with a customer, users will need Showcase 360. For more information, see What is Showcase 360?
