The Flex platform contains personal settings for each logged in user. This article lists what options you can access within the User Settings. For example you can change details of an existing user, and see a User Profile.
Username Menu
To access this menu, click your username displayed at the top right of the Flex platform screen.
Note: These settings are specific to the user account logged in to Flex.
You will see quick access to:
Change shop – Shows the login screen to select a different company and/or shop to work in (from those you have permission to access). A user can be active in more than 1 company, and in more than 1 shop.
Change language – Select a language for the Flex platform interface.
Hide prices - This hides prices within the Design Details of any Project on the Flex platform.
About Flex - Gives you reference numbers (if Support require them to help you), Legal information and the ability to send feedback.
Sign out – Safely signs you out of the Flex platform, also signs you out of Winner Flex desktop application.
User Profile
To access, click the settings cog at the bottom of the left hand menu bar, under User Settings select User Profile.
Under Main Information you can edit your name and contact details, job title and language.
Under Contact you can upload a graphic for your avatar.
- Click + Choose Avatar
- Either drag and drop a file from your computer, or click the + Choose and browse to locate the file.
The graphic should be a JPG, JPEG or PNG file and no larger than 1MB in file size.
A small preview of your graphic will be shown.
- Click Upload.
- Click Save User on the top toolbar.
When an avatar is uploaded to a user it will appear by your username at the top right of the Flex platform.
The Profile Information box is used to store information internally, for the system administrator. It is does not appear anywhere publicly viewable.
Change Password
To access, click the settings cog at the bottom of the left hand menu bar, under User Settings select User Profile. Change Password is on the top toolbar.
To change your password, you will need access to your registered email account.
A recovery code will be sent to your email address. Paste the recovery code into the box shown. Once the code is validated, you will be able to change your password.
User Preferences
To access, click the settings cog at the bottom of the left hand menu bar, under User Settings select User Preferences.
These default settings are the same as set inside the desktop app. You can change settings here and they will apply to all projects that this user begins in Flex.
Set defaults for:
- Sales person/Our reference
- Designer name
- Space name
- Design name
Products Download
To access, click the settings cog at the bottom of the left hand menu bar, under Customer Portal select Products Download.
For example, if a user has an office computer, and wishes to begin some work from home, they can click to download Winner desktop app to install it on their home laptop. For more information see article How to download, install and activate Winner Flex or Winner Design
Catalogue Selection
You can request a catalogue by searching through the extensive database of catalogues available and send the request at the click of a button. The request is sent to the dispatch team and they will then let you know when it has been added to your account. For more information see article How to request a catalogue.
