The Catalogue information window is to view and alter important information regarding the selected catalogue. You can change how the price of groups is calculated, add or change information presented from the catalogue, and adjust settings. It is accessed via Registered catalogues:
- At Project level, click Register in the menu bar.
- Select Catalogues.
- In the Registered catalogues window, select the catalogue to highlight it.
- Double-click the selected catalogue or click Catalogue in the menu bar and select Properties.
Catalogue information contains three tabs:
Price calculation
The Price calculation tab allows you to adjust Cost and Sales indexes for the selected catalogue, as well as adjust the calculation method and set Currency. See How can I setup my cost and sales index? for more information.
The Conditions drop-down allows you to set multiple time-frames that the indexes you set are applied for, as well as for a single Alternative. See Conditions properties for more information.
Info. fields
The Info. fields tab allows you to add extra information to the catalogue. The information will be printed on the quotation as well as other catalogue information.
- Click on the Add button to add a new information field in the catalogue.
New lines will always be placed on the last line of the window. Change the order of the information in the window by highlighting the line you want to move, and click on the Up or Down button. - Click OK to save changes.
Settings
The Settings tab allows you to edit the selected catalogue.
- Supplier
Select the supplier to be linked to the catalogue from the drop-down list. Click on the '...' button to the right to access the supplier register. - Name of printouts
Enter the name the catalogue should display as on all printouts. - Make this catalogue unavailable for new alternatives
Tick this if you want to limit the catalogue being used for new designs. This is useful if you do not want to delete the catalogue, but want to phase out its use. - Purchase price and sales price for each product
Tick this to show purchase prices and sales prices per product to designers. This is dependent on the specification of the catalogue. - Apply cost index at fixed cost prices
Tick this if you want the registered purchase price for the product to be multiplied by the cost index. This option is only available if the Purchase price and sales price for each product box is ticked. - Automatic selection of model/finish
Tick this box to automatically allocate the same model/finishes to all the product groups. This means when you change model/finish of a door, it will update other groups such as edges and panels to match where possible. - Skip automatic updating of codes for cabinet cutting
Tick this box to skip any updates or creation of additional codes in the quotation when you change the size of a cabinet. This is dependent on the specification of the catalogue. - Ask only for mandatory extra codes
Tick this box to only show the extra codes that are registered as "mandatory" on the unit when placing it, instead of showing all extra codes that are listed to the unit. This is dependent on the specification of the catalogue. - Exclude this catalogue from profit calculation
Tick this box to stop the catalogue being included on presentations of profit, such as quotations and margin control. - Show overridden finish information at item lines
Tick this box to list any changes from the default selection of models/finishes in the alternative's quotation.
