When you start a new alternative you are automatically brought to the alternative’s setup. In this window you can register information that only applies to this alternative and that has an effect on both the drawing and quotation.
You can make your selections immediately or make them at a later date by accessing the same options via Alternative > Settings on the menu bar . Shortcut: F7 This takes you to the Drawing settings window.
1. Catalogue / Model / Finishes
All models/product groups and finishes that are used in the current alternative are shown in a tree-structure:
2. Change model
You change model by first highlighting a line in the list Catalogue / Model / Finishes. Click on the Change model button and select a new model along with any finishes.
3. Materials
By starting this option you can change the material selection for the various models that appear in the Catalogue / Model / Finishes list.
First highlight a line in the Catalogue / Model / Finishes list. Then click on the Materials button.
4. Info field
When you print a quotation, the name of all catalogues that are used as well as your choice of model and finishes will be automatically presented in a separate block in the quotation. To enter other information in the same block for this alternative use info fields.
You register an info field by first highlighting a line in the list Catalogue / Model / Finishes that belongs to the catalogue you want. Then click the Info fields button.
5. Price calculation
To override the catalogue’s price indexes and customer discounts for this alternative, you use this function. First highlight a line in the list Catalogue / Model / Finishes that belongs to the catalogue you want. Then click on the Price calculation button.
6. Preview of model and finishes
In the upper preview, Winner displays the selected model with the selected finishes.
In the lower preview, Winner displays a preview of the worktop you have selected for this alternative.
Note: the top preview will show a section of the whole kitchen but the lower preview will show what you are currently adjusting.
7. Edges
In this tab you register catalogue, code, height and model for the plinths, plinth mouldings, decor mouldings, light screens (light shields), cornices and ceiling fillers that are to be used in the drawing.

Catalogue
Select the catalogue you want from the drop-down list. Winner will automatically suggest the main catalogue for the alternative.

Code
Select the code from the drop-down list. Winner will show the codes for the selected catalogue.
When you have selected the code you will automatically be asked to select the model and any finish available.
The codes that appear are obtained from the selected catalogue. If you select the value Only drawn, the mouldings will be shown in the drawing, but not transferred with code and price to the quotation.

Height
Select the height. The field cannot be edited if the catalogue controls the height to be used.

Model
Winner shows the name of the model that has been selected. To select another model/finish click on the button to the right of the field.
8. Coving / Skirting
In this tab you can select coving and/or skirting to be used in the drawing. You can have more than one option for this - see article for more information.
Coving and skirting can be selected/deselected per wall, both for ordinary walls and false walls, as well as for false wall edges. This selection is made in the properties dialogue, which will appear when you highlight the desired wall, false wall or false wall edge and press Ctrl + F5.

Use coving on ceiling fillers
Tick this field if you want coving on ceiling fillers.
NOTE! This field will only be available when you select a code for coving.

Use Skirting on plinths
Tick this field if you want skirting on plinths.
NOTE! This field will only be available when you select a code for skirting.

Height
This field can only be edited if you have selected coving/skirting from the Winner Standard products catalogue.
9. Worktop
In this tab you can register general information about the worktops that you will use in the drawing. By clicking on the '...' button you can edit model/finishes.

Thickness
The thickness in mm. of worktops that are automatically created in the drawing. This thickness is registered in your manufacturer’s catalogue. If you change this value then all automatically created worktops will change thickness. If you draw a worktop freehand you will always be asked what thickness you want the worktop to be.
Front edge
Shape of front edge of all worktops in the drawing.

Overhang
Overhang in mm. of front edges of automatically created worktops in the drawing. The overhang is calculated from the unit’s frame (without door).
End edge
In this group box you can select the shape of end edge of all worktops in the drawing.

Shape of end edge
Shape of end edge of all worktops in the drawing. You can select between Straight end edge and Same as front edge.

Overhang end edges
Overhang in mm. of end edge of automatically created worktops in the drawing.
Upstand
In this group box you can select upstand, as well as whether this should be used against a wall and/or tall unit.
This function is only available if the catalogue which is being used for this alternative is modified for this.
10. Covering Panel
In this tab you can register general information about the covering panels that you may use in the drawing. Using the drop-down you can set them to off or select the placement, which turns them on. By clicking on the '...' button you can edit model/finishes.

Thickness
The thickness in mm. of covering panels that are automatically created in the drawing. This thickness is registered in your manufacturer’s catalogue. If you change this value then all automatically created covering panels will change thickness. If you draw a covering panel freehand you will always be asked what thickness you want the covering panel to be.
Front edge
Shape of front edge of all covering panels in the drawing.

Overhang in mm. of front edges of automatically created covering panels in the drawing. The overhang is calculated from the unit’s frame (without door).
End edge
In this group box you can select the shape of end edge of all covering panels in the drawing.

11. Measurements
By starting this function you can change all standard measurements that are defined in the catalogue. If you edit standard measurements then objects affected by these measurements will automatically be edited in the drawing.

Handles
Select the code you want from the drop-down list. The codes that appear in the drop-down list are fetched from the catalogue selected for handles. If you select the value Drawn only then the selected handle will be shown in the drawing, but not transferred with code, quantity and price to the quotation. A preview of the handle that has been highlighted/selected will be shown in the window. If you click on the colour palette icon you can alter the colour of the handle.
By clicking on the more options button:
the "Select product" dialogue box is opened. Here you can select/alter the handle from the selected catalogue, as well as being able to search by code.

Place horizontally on doors
Some handles can be placed both horizontally and vertically on doors. The vertical placement is automatically suggested. If you select this field all handles will be placed horizontally in the drawing. You cannot change this placement for each individual door. -
Place horizontally on drawers
If you tick this field, all the handles on the drawers will be placed horizontally in the drawing. You can edit this placement for each individual draw.

Door
Handles that are placed on all doors. Select the code you want from the drop-down list. The codes that appear in the drop-down list are fetched from the catalogue that is defined as the main catalogue for the alternative.
If you select the value Standard a standard handle will appear in the drawing but not be transferred with number, code and price to the quotation.

Glass
Handles that are placed on all glass doors. Select the code you want from the drop-down list. The value Same as door is automatically suggested.

Drawer
Knobs that fit on all drawers. Select the code you want from the pull-down list. The value Same as door is automatically suggested.

Small
Handles that fit on all small drawers. Select the code you want from the drop-down list. The value Same as drawer is automatically suggested.
Tiles above worktops
In this group box you can register information about tiles over worktops.
Note: To avoid unwanted gaps in the tiling, the units need to be positioned to the wall exactly (either manually or by using the automatic offset to the wall function).

Automatic calculation
This field is automatically activated when you select a pattern for the tiles. You can turn the field ON/OFF as you wish, by ticking or unticking the check box. This will switch the automatic placement of tiles on or off.
By clicking on the colour swatch , you can select the pattern on all the tiles over worktops. This function applies to all walls where the tiles are placed automatically. To select a tile pattern for a particular wall, click to highlight one wall in Room definition mode and then click the Edit colour settings for room and objects icon
Note: The only dimensional adjustment you can make to the automatic placement of tiles is the Top height, this is adjusted using the drop-down list.
