Winner Design users can create a backup or copy of their Winner Design data to preserve it in case of security issues, data loss or hardware failure. Users who are moving their Winner Design installation to a new PC should see How to copy an existing Winner Design installation to a new PC.

Note: Users who are unsure about backing up their data should contact their IT service support provider.
Backing up Winner Design
- Exit Winner Design.
- Users should ensure they have an external hard drive or a USB flash drive with enough capacity to store the Winner folder currently on their PC.
Note: To check the size of the Winner folder, right-click and select Properties. In the General tab, look at the Size and Size on disk of the folder. - Connect the USB flash drive or external hard drive to the user's PC.

Open Windows File Explorer and locate the Winner folder.
Note: By default this is on the C:\ drive. But if Winner Design was installed on a different drive, then the Winner folder will be located there. Users who are unsure should contact their IT support service provider.

Right-click on the Winner folder and select Copy.
- Navigate to the connected USB flash drive or external hard drive.
Note: Go to This PC and look under Devices and drives. -
Right-click and select Paste.
Note: This process can take some time due to the size of the Winner folder files.
- Once completed, safely eject the USB flash drive or external hard drive.
Note: Go to This PC and look under Devices and drives. Right-click the connected USB flash drive or external hard drive and select Eject.
Restoring from a data backup
To restore the user's Winner Design data backup:
- Connect the USB flash drive or external hard drive to the user's PC.
- Open Windows File Explorer and navigate to the connected USB flash drive or external hard drive.
Note: Go to This PC and look under Devices and drives. -
Right-click the Winner folder and select Copy.
- Navigate to the location where Winner Design will be installed.
Note: For example, the C:\ drive. -
Right-click and select Paste.
Note: If the Replace or Skip files dialogue box appears, click Replace the files in the destination. This process can take some time due to the size of the Winner folder files.

Once the process is complete, open the Winner folder.

Double-click on the Lansetup.exe file.
- Follow the onscreen prompts to install Winner Design on the user's new PC.
- Once the installation is complete, double-click the Winner Design shortcut on the user's desktop to start Winner Design.
