With CMC catalogues are downloaded from the cloud onto a single machine, then after customisations have been made, they are published back to the cloud ready for download by each individual user in your company.
The first user to publish a catalogue is automatically assigned the CMC admin role. They will be responsible for all the customisations made on a catalogue and must use the same computer when customising catalogues. We recommend choosing your CMC administrator carefully as once this is done it cannot be changed without contacting your Cyncly support team.
There are two methods of customisation:
- Quick Process which automatically assigns the minimum customisations and is generally used for when you want the same customisations for all shops within your company.
- Manually adding customisations for when you want different customisations for different shops. Both methods are shown in the video below.
Note: Once users within your company download the customised catalogues you have published, if they make any changes to it on their system, these will be overwritten when a new version is published by the CMC administrator.
The extension is activated by contacting Compusoft support.
